Red Friday...

OK...I missed it, Last Red Friday that is, but I got it covered this week.

I was in a COMMERCIAL space not to long ago and saw this complete wall of tile going into the restroom area of a public space and as you can see I was totally drawn in...luckily it WAS the ladies room.

Do you LOVE IT or what?  LOVE!

I was in LOVE.  The graphic design, the gloss, the shape, the pattern...did I mention I was in LOVE with the COLOR oh yeah, well you probably already guessed that!

Then...just the very next week I was watching HGTV and one of my favorite shows came on David Bromstad's Color Splash and much to my surprise...he USED this exact tile in a Mid-Century Modern make over.....can you believe it!

Watch the video here...you don't have to watch the entire episode...because the tile is featured in the promo...but watch the episode anyway, it's a good one!

This tile is made from an original 1950's design and can be ordered from Heath Ceramics...here is a link to the tile that they used and that I saw on the walls in the commercial space.

WOW...now that is a INFO PACKED post huh!  BTW, The link I gave above for David is his Facebook page, but I also follow David Bromstad on Twitter...and he is great, added bonus....HE'S HOT!

Here was a picture of her before she had all of her tubes taken out...wearing her new Christmas dress that I found for her...Santa Claus was gonna come to the hospital for photos on Dec 19...but she was OUTTA THERE on the 18th...so she missed her first date with Santa...

Red Friday...

I always have bought vintage Christmas ornaments...but never took them on the road to shows.

WHY?  Not sure really...but when I went to the Country Living Fair in Atlanta in October I took them along.

They looked fantastic all piled high on this large ironstone platter.

The crowd loved them...so I think I will do it again!

Tis the Season or not! They were a HIT!

Update on Arabella Grace...

Just to keep you posted...Arabella has been on IV only for the past week due to tummy issues...but in the last few days she has been eating with a bottle...YEAH!

Not sure who looks more happy MOMMY or BABY?  Look at how Arabella is looking at her Mommy!
If all goes well little Arabella will hit a whopping 4 lbs!

Jess said that Arabella is WIDE awake after she takes her bottle...but only for a few moments, then it's NAP time!

One of the nurses in the NICU make these cute little diaper covers with ruffles...it swallows Arabella up....but a girl has gotta have some RUFFLES!
This was the little ONESIE that I found and sent to Jess....I couldn't pass this up....
I AM THE AUNTIE ya know!
This sweet little teeeny tiny Christmas dress was the one I found just last week...it's like the size of a Christmas card envelope!

Little Arabella...Look'n GOOD!

Arabella Grace...

Today...I was wish'n that my gal pal Janet would have let me borrow her Helicopter so that I could have quickly jumped over to see sweet little Arabella and her Mommy (My Niece Jessica)....but alas neither one of us have won the *POWER BALL* yet :(

I was out shopping around and ran across this teeeeeny tiny Christmas dress and couldn't snap it up fast enough.  Preemie clothes are not easy to find....I am sure this dress will still SwaLLoW her up...but I just had to get it anyway.  Skipping and jump'n out of the store I decided to call Mommy to tell her what I ran across, we were chatting and all of a sudden there were monitors buzzing in the background and nurses talking...when Jessica finally made it back to the phone, it was like the air was sucked right out of her.  Arabella's heart rate dipped way down and scared all of them half to death.  My heart was aching!  I wanted to rush right over there, but It just wasn't to be.  Jessica had told me that they were going to talk to one of the nurses to see if they would let them put some clothes on little Arabella, so that they could snap a Christmas picture of her....and I had found something they might be able to use.

All that setting in the NICU day after day is hard on everyone.  I am so glad that Jess has her Mother there with her and I am super thankful that there is a thing called "The Ronald McDonald House".  Little Arabella is still on IV only for a few more days...and they are all hanging in!  I wanted to bring the dress home so that I could snap some photos of it and post it...but instead after that phone call,  I took the next turn to the post office, stuffed it into the box as quickly as I could and off it went.

Sweet Little Arabella

Arabella Grace...

Little Arabella has had another set back...so keep the prayers coming!  They have taken her off her feeding tube again due to tummy issues...so back on IV fluids only.

Her pictures just get more precious...This is her having some skin to skin contact with Mommy.
They say it is good for the Premature babies.

Isn't she so precious.  This was a little hat that one of the nurses gave to her.
What a cute little turkey!

This was Arabella getting used to her binky...she is learning!
