The party was going down on Wednesday night during Round Top Texas Antique Week aka OPENING Night & late night shopping at The Big Red Barn.....but a PARTY GIRL has gotta do what a PARTY GIRL has gotta do! AND SO, I left the boys to tend my booth and after I changed into my "WHITE" duds...(that was a request of the Birthday Girl for us to dress in ALL WHITE"..............I was ready to head out to the PAR-TA!
These FAMOUS crutches were placed near the entry of the party...Janet's Mom Peg, who shares her Birthday with her wonderful daughter...stood up and told the story about "When Janet was nine..." and also entertained us with a poem that she wrote about Janet....she was a show stopper!
Peg "Work'n" the crowd...Shelley from Sweet Pea hanging on her every word...
Janet's Sister Mo, giving her Mom a special Birthday Gift before we got going on Janet's festivities...
The SHOCK on Peg's face when she opened the present...
Something that Peg made herself...back in the 70's.....PRICELESS!
Back to the Party Girl...who wore her Tiara and carried her scepter...with PRIDE!
A little "OVER-SIZED" suites her to a "T"
Peg, Janet & Mo
Are they not all sooooo beautiful!
Setting the "SCENE" is this chippy fence post with moss growing on it...
The entire lawn was a cute as a button with tons of places for people to mingle...
It was a beautiful evening and only got better when the sun went down.
Janet's SweetTalk cards under the food tent...so inviting!
Twinkling candle lights...make everything more SPECIAL!
The table centerpieces...
Even the wine had a cute little home...
The desserts! YUM!
Her request to the attendees...bring a single "WHITE" butter pat
Does she think we are completely CRAZY...that is one way to boost her inventory :-)
Even though Jane-T is pleading "NOT GUILTY"
The "Birthday GIRL" enjoying her company.
Janet & Robelyn from red.neck Chic
Janet's Brother Sport and his lovely wife!
Me & Jane-T
Me & Kristi
Me & Theresa....Junk'n SISTA'S UNITE!
It was time to go...but we were all having such a great time!
I know you might be thinking this isn't the best picture of us...but I think it's PERFECT!
There are few people who come along in your lifetime that you are able to make a connection with.
Janet, is one of THOSE PEOPLE TO ME! I had so much fun helping her celebrate at her "WHITE" party......and I only hope I have her in my life for another 50 years!
AND RUB'N ELBOWS with these fellow Bloggers...well it was SWEET!
Stay tuned for more on Round Top Texa Antique Week post to come...and FYI I leave in approximately 15 days to head to Brimfield...OMG I think I'm on a tilt-a-whirl!

What a sweet, sweet post! I'm on the brink of tears... (then again, maybe it's just my age.)
