Hot...Hot...HOT...

That probably best describes Round Top this trip.

But then again maybe Dry...Dry...DRY is more like it.

Once Country Living Fair Ohio was over, I drove back home, spent a WHOPP'N 24hrs to pick up some last minute items, tweak our load, pick up the box truck and we were back on the road again to Round Top.

Since being on the road since before Brimfield with no break in the action, you would have thought that I was well organized...and to that thought I would say....THINK OF SOMETHING ELSE.  You would think that going from show to show would make you more organized but for me that is not the case.

For those of you out there who are blog readers, I am sure you have heard it ALL...but the crowds were much smaller than I have ever noticed in Round Top in the past.  Not sure of the cause, but the area sure did have a few things not going their way.  The fires, the lack of rain, the HEAT and maybe the poor economy has finally reached them....not sure but the combination of those would most probably effect it.  For me I had a steady show.  Not a barn burner (pardon the pun) but a steady show.  I did find that the people who where at the shows....came for the intent to PURCHASE, and that is always GOOD!

The main thing is that we made it through and lived to place another Round Top NOTCH our my belt!

Here are a few photos of my booth at Marburger Farms -

CAN NOT LIVE WITHOUT CRUSTY WOOD & RUST!
I loved the way this picture turned out of this primitive chicken nest box,
I took it looking into an old crusty mirror.  Love it!

loading up the SOLD goods...

A map of the city of Houston, Tx.
Some cute little child's chest....with some SOLD tags to adorn them :-)

I've got more pictures of my booth at the Big Red Barn, so have no fear there is more to come!
